So, did I understand right? is like a crossreed between mountain falcolf and forest falcolf?

Yep, he's like a crossbred! I thought making the back of the legs lighter might work as from-below camoflauge, or at least an exotic marking.

Thank you! I was trying to mimic the feathery looking fur that you find on the ruffs of wolves. Not sure if I got that look, but I tried!

You are one of the few artists on here I really look up to style wise~

I use a shading tool on paint tool SAI to make a sort of tuft/feathery look, but I think you've done a better job then me lol.

Just keep practicing! Practice really makes perfect, it just takes a while.

Well, for the way I painted this I did a grey layer and painted on the highlights of the fur with a normal brush. I think the best advice for doing that naturally is just looking at real animals to figure out fur length and direction, than moving from there.

Lovely work my friend. I love his eyes and the lovely blue of the background really makes him stand out. I definitely think you go the density of his coat down it looks really thick and luscious.
