Description PERSONAL PIECE: HE LAUGHS LIKE A GOD, SO SHATTER MY ASHES

As the days go by the night's on fire

None of you should have to know about my issues at home. I'm sorry for all the irritation and worry I have caused you. This is what I salvaged before the incident last night came up. I am uploading it now because I may not have a chance to finish or upload otherwise. I may be back next week, I may not. I just need to fix my mess right now. I'm upset but I understand that art must take a step down in my priorities.

His name is _________. He cannot get wet. I would like it if you guys could help me name him. I'm out of ideas. Thankyou.

My first impression of this: WOW!! This is such a unique idea, its just stunning to look at! Its very well executed, with little improvement needed.
Actually, when I first look at this, there is nothing to improve on! But I looked a little closer, and here are my points: e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
The feather on the horse looks rather chunky, especially because it is right next to the tail hair. I understand feather hair is so much thicker than tail hair (grooming grey cobs have taught me that e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)"/>) but it could just use a small hard brush on smudge to make it a little bit more lifelike.
The other hair is absolutely stunning, the colours and shadows and light is perfect. The strands could be just a little thinner towards the end, but thats just personal opinion, I still think its beautiful ;3
The thing that stood out to me most is probably the background. The rain is very well done, but I fear the background picture itself is perhaps a bit too dark and blurred. Especially because the sky is very light, making the rest of it seem very dark.

I really love how you did the mane (I'll be following your tutorial soon, probably.) and I love the idea behind the image. Everything is gorgeous, even unfinished. I'll not keep hitting on the feathers, though, lol. I just think they look smudged and could handle a bit of your skills with hair. hehe

gorgeous mane & tail, the feathers on the hooves are the biggest thing that stand out in need of refining. other than that... even unfinished, this is still stunning! don't be sorry for telling us about your home problems; you need to let them out somewhere. Siccabis, Latin for dry. Or Sininbir, which combines the Latin words for without (Sine) and rain (Inbir).

I recommend Google translate - I use it for many of my fantasy names. There's ton more languages than Latin, but I like to use it because it has the same alphabet, because it sounds nice, because it has a long tradition of being used for names or magic, and because I'm a Latin student. After Latin, I'm most likely to use Norwegian.
