I like this a lot. It's strong contrast really brings out the textures in the pepper. I think that it'd be cool to maybe try and blend and merge together the middle a bit more because it's so sharp to see the split, but at the same time it's nice to see the pepper in it's natural state completely. I like your experiments fall, they always seem to work out.
