Riiiight... so... With all the rain this summer, i guess the ground must be saturated enough for edible mushrooms to begin growing near my town... The season has started like 3 weeks early this year, strange considering 2 years ago it started on the 30th of august and last year i didn't find any until about the 4th of september, and now this year one of my friends finds 40 on the 6th of august... BRING ON GLOBAL WARMING! or at least extreme weather *grin*.

Yeah so anyway, was a nice morning, stayed up the endurance of the night and set off at about 4:15am, just starting to get light as we arrived at the fields. Only found 18 between the 3 of us in an hour, but did get some amazing photographs of the sun rising, and there was a really dense low hanging fog which filled the valleys like water, looked waaay sweet.

You can feel a bit of the cold bite in the wind again now though, The season usually ends mid october with first frost, so hopefully 2 months supply of mushrooms exhaust the recipes i know.
