Description So yesterday morning i decided to take the camera on a quick whip around the garden, just basically trying to capture as many different images of this paradise before i leave on sunday, and may never return unfortunatly. So it was a clear, fresh morning and everything was a little damp with the morning dew, and i thought i would call Nico (our horse) over to try and get some images of his face infront of the clear blue sky. But after he teased me by taking a few sheepish steps towards me from across the field, then stopping for a quick graze, i decided that there was perhaps better things to be doing and i headed back inside. When i passed the plants in this image however, a rainbow of colour quickly flashed across the surface of the droplets, catching my eye. So i stood there... taking a step back, a step forward, playing with the reflection of light from different perspectives... and the pics i took in macro mode came out better than any other pictures i had taken, which still isn't amazing or anything, but hey 1.3mgpxls is all i have got for the moment, but my dad is in singapore at the moment, Capital of cheap electronic goodies so maybe he will bring me a little something back.

Yeah so this looked sweet for different reasons at different stages, i could have finished it off after cutting the foreground leaf out and overlaying a gradient effect, and blurring the background slightly, but then i wanted typography, and that needed blending with a bit of line work, which in turn needed a pixel stretch yadda yadda, and it ultimatly took the beauty in simplicity out of the piece i think. So not 100% happy with this, but then thats why i heed critique on these matters. Cheers-

// EDIT // Moved the first version of 'matindanslejardin' to scraps, as i thought it was taking to much attention away from what i originally tried to achieve with this image. You can view the original over manipulated version here : [link]

i think i prefer this.

Hey cheers man, yeah it was the start of a nice day, and im in france at the mo. The sun had only come across the top of the other side of the hills across the valley, and the light really caught the smaller droplets sweetly, shame i have got a few more million pixels at my disposal. thx for the comment bro-
