Madoka Magica (or Puella Magi Madoka Magica) is an anime series, where four middle school girls make a contract with a cat-like creature named Kyubey, and they become magical girls. I'm not going to say anymore about the show, as I do not want to spoil it for you. I highly recommend you watch it! It's awesome! AWESOME! Hope this helped Irys.
