My end of the school year project for ceramics. We had to sculpt some kind of animal, and since my art teacher refused to let me do a wolf(lol I can understand why, I draw the wayy to much
) I did a tiger.I'm really happy with this, though some of the glazing is kinda...meh...oh well. Hope you guys like it!!
and btw SCHOOLS OUT!! I don't think I could be any happier! Lol time to run and play and soak up some Vitamin D! Haha^^

Wow this is awesome! Did you guys do the whole metal/mesh base thing and then sculpt around it or...? I've been trying to figure out what kind of mesh stuff to use for the base for so long now :/

Thank you! No, we started out with a hollow pinch pot for the body and then added slowly onto that, it doesn't work as well when your clay is reaally moist tho:/ in my doberman sculpture I did use the metal/foil base and it does help considerably but it can also be a pain to do!

great job! I like the pose and the coloring. I never really liked glaze. I perfer to use underglaze because it doesnt moving around in the kiln and the colors normaly stay the same
