Gorgeous work on the two, and I love the level of detail on everything. Great lighting, great shading for a wonderful feeling of depth, plus the lighting itself gives it a warm and magical feeling. Celestia looks fantastic with her smile, and Discord's scowl is pretty great too. Also, the upshot angle and perspective gives adds both the height and the majesty to the scene. And no Tyrant tag? Sure she looks adorable, but this is still pretty scary look for Celestia if you are not on her side. Heck Discord's face even looks a little mopey, like he thinks it's unfair he had to reform, but Celestia gets to be the villain now.

And the image can work from a non shipping perspective. She's having a meeting with a rival nation's leader who's never been afraid to use the threat of war to gain concessions from Celestia, who's already seen enough ponies die from old age alone. This time that leader's bluff and bravado drains away when what amounts to a living superweapon emerges from behind Celestia's throne. Celestia just smiles.
