Description This photo was taken in the ghost town of Bannack, Montana.

First it was cold and windy. then it was cold, windy and rainy. then it was cold, windy, raining and snowing. ... then it was cold, windy and hailing.

Question: Are people really allowed to roam around inside the buildings? If so, I really need to go there! This ghost town looks amazing.

yes This particular ghost town is carefully watched by the other still alive towns near by to insure no one vandalizes it. So it is in wonderful condition (for a ghost town). All but two of the structures are able to be walked through and explored. There are two cemeteries near by, one near the road on the way to it and one that has to be hiked to. And the gallows they used to hang people from are still there a bit from the town as well ^_^

Oh my gosh! That's amazing.

And some of these shots are just begging to be used as Dorothy's house once she landed on the Wicked Witch of the East.
