normally I'm all for not hurting things, even insects, I generally release them into the wild where they can live or die by the hands of theri fellow buggy friends but... KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE! *cries
I HATE those things they're HUGE! and one got in to the house just the other day... and my cat brought it to my mother... while she was in bed.. probably wouldn't have been so bad if the thing had been dead at the time... DA needs to make a new mature filter for giant two inch long spiders.
Now that I'm done ranting, great shot, the decision to not invert it makes it all the more...horribly spidery

creepy. But good capture. Here is info on the brown recluse. That is not one. But many people mistake brown spiders for a brown recluse. Typically I don't believe they have the fur on them this one does. but if you would like to check it out you can here [link]

I believe that's a Brown Recluse. Stay away from those. They can put a full grown man in the hospital and even kill young children. Their venom is very poisonous and where they bite it often leaves a really nasty scar.

You're right and wrong. That's not a brown recluse, but a Hobo spider. However, Hobo spiders are the real source of most of those horrible wounds blamed on brown recluse spiders.
