This is actually a rare thing for me to say, but I actually like the remake more than the original. In fact, the remake of Dead Space is actually the reason why I even bought an Xbox Series X and it was actually the first Series X game that I'd ever played and what a game to start off with a new console.

What I like about the remake is that it makes everything from the original game feel fresh again for the first time and it adds more content to the plot from the original game and it explains so much about whatever you wanted to know. I really like how Isaac's voice actor returned to reprise the role and it just feels so good to hear Isaac's voice again, even in a remake of a horror classic in gaming. Every character, including the ship has more personality and everything just feels alive and it's visually amazing to look at.

While I still like the 2008 original classic, I actually like this one a lot more. I actually prefer a remake over the original and that's a very rare thing for me to ever say because most of the time, remakes aren't that very good but, this one got everything right. If they ever get around to remaking the sequels (please fix Dead Space 3), I'd be open to it.
