random question I keep forgetting to ask! Is it hard using Charcoal & Graphite together? I'm asking cause my art teacher from high school told me not to mix them together.. ^^ ;;

Yes and No.... It takes a lot of practice to understand how they behave... mostly it's because Graphite is reflective and charcoal is abrasive. But, I actually like using Charcoal OVER graphite for blending. And I like using Charcoal INSTEAD of graphite for areas that need to be the darkest black. They aren't easy to mix, but I've done it so much now that I honestly cannot do it any other way.
(I had an art teacher tell me once that you can't create artwork using gel pens - teachers are great and all, but they don't know everything.)

ahhh thats true practice makes perfect. I always wanted to try to use it for dark parts but i'm scared i'll mess up the drawing cause Charcoal is messy (I pick up any kind of Charcoal including pencil kind & i'm covered in charcoal..)
