Description
Obscure clouds veil the sun,As the sky turns opaque.
Shadow of trees waltz amidst the spectral scene,
Conjectures of a stirring storm.
Silent is the rain that’s fallen,
Icy are the old autumn gales.
Soft zephyrs caress the trees,
Toying with the lingering Fall.
The aged autumn breeze stings my skin,
The wind’s melodies engraved within my mind.
Silver raindrops fall upon my cheeks,
A jagged smile begins to form.
Merrily, in the autumn rain I dance.
Puddles of lustrous ecstasy,
Graves of sorrow I dance upon.
Along with the perpetual motions around me.
Rhythmic is the silver that descends the sky,
Whispering words of a forgotten fable.
A tranquil nightingale sings within,
As I relinquish to the angelic tune.
Slowly the silver rain begins to fade,
The masquerade is no more.
The sun crawls from beneath it’s facade,
And once again, the day must go on.

Oh my God, thank you thank you thank you. I was beginning to think that deviant was the home of all no-talent emo-poets, then I read this excellent piece. I love you. Not only was the poem not about slitting your fucking wrists because your heart was broken, it was GOOD. Sir or madame, you have talent. Keep posting here, it will make me happy.
