I've been hoping to make a new entry for the Twilight Saga Fandom Contest being held in Italy on the 22nd of December that was advertised on Stephenie Meyer's website ages ago, but I just couldn't get any decent ideas >.< I spent this afternoon sketching out one that I was pretty happy with onto a canvas so I could paint it. I was going to do it in gouache and watercolour (very strange combination!) but the damn canvas was only suitable for oil and acrylic, as I later discovered written in tiny handwriting on the BACK of the packaging -_- So, I tried painting with acrylic, but I hate that media so much and ended up leaving it.

Then I tried drawing it again on paper so I could paint it in watercolour like I planned, but Edward looked too ugly - shock horror!

After releaving my stress on a nearby cushion, I started clearing up my files and discovered my Eclipse image hidden somewhere random.

The thing about the original version that bugged me was that it had a full moon in the background, and not a picture of an eclipse like I had wanted. I can't remember why I didn't add one, so I played around with it for a bit, and this is what I decided to send off to the competition Pretty happy with it, but I think I could have cropped it a bit more...no, I'm happy with it
