I LOVED Arrietty! X3 It was so beautiful and the music was magical! I love 'Arrietty's Song' on the soundtrack! The separation at the end made me really sad though. Why couldn't they stay together?! TT_TT

Seriously! I wanted so badly for them to stay together at the end! I actually bought the soundtrack were Cecile Corbel had given lyrics to songs that didn't originally have them, and then I burned it onto a cd to put in my car (and I drew the scene where Arrietty reveals herself out in the field, albeit very tiny and very badly in Sharpie). Arrietty's Song and My First Borrowing were my favorites :3

And I am actually nearly finished with an Arrietty cosplay for Fanime (her short sleeved red dress). All I have left to finish is her pin sword, hair clip, and have my wig get here. Obsessed? Me? NEVER. XD

Aw, I really wanted to do that dress too, but I've already got 3/4 in store (which I will get some damn pictures of!) I'm pretty sure loads of people will recognise you - obsession is catching ;D (It's such a good movie! X3) Though don't be surpised if people say you're too tall for Arrietty. I got that the whole time I was Human Al at Expo last year!

I really want to see pictures of your cosplay Good luck making your props - I have no idea how you're going to make the clip...

Oh, I am sure I'll get the elitists saying that it is either crappily done or that I am too tall to be her (seriously, some of our fellow cosplayers can be quite ridiculous), but I figure if I'm enjoying myself, oh well lol I do hope obsession is catching though! lol

I'm trying to make my props fit the scale size to a Borrower, so I think my pin sword looks pretty close and my sugar cube looks about the size it would have been in comparison to her when Sean (or Sho) gives it to her at the end. I may still make her little rop holder to hang from the belt, but that will be if I have time lol

The clip I have an idea for, but things are usually easier in theory than in practice XD Thank you for the wishes of luck though, as I am sure I will need it lol

Thanks XD The soundtrack is beautiful! At first it sounded celtic, but then I heard Japanese lyrics, and yet it fit so beautifully Really glad you enjoyed the movie!

I loved it too! I can't describe how magical it was, and how much it stuck with me after I finished watching it Ghibli are geniuses!

And well done on getting your Nan to watch it! Next time I see her, I'm bringing this movie with me! XD
