I love Owl City and this fanart. Strawberry Avalanche has to be one of my favorite songs by him.

Thank you! I tried to make this more about the feel of that song than anything else. That carefree air and happy discovery of life an' all that hat. >__>

Hahahah! Oh my gosh, you really put a smile on my face. Oh, I'm glad that you think so well of my work...hahaha, I'll have to keep in mind doing something brilliant if I'm away for too long. To keep people from hating me.

Because there are people in the world who just do...? o__o I'm certain there's SOME ambiguous reason. Like I stepped on their baby toe while waiting in line with them, or some other nefarious deed that my short-sighted self never fathomed would come back to haunt me in the most horrendous of ways.
...
...
T___T
So how are you, buddy?

Hahaha, I'm a silly person, so it's not surprising.
Oh wow! That's awesome! Congratulations, my friend! I bet the baby is adorable! [After getting married I've been in Baby Mode, not that I demand one just yet, but because the possibility is now within my grasp, I'm going gaga over the mere notion of motherhood! Hahaha, I'm sad.]
I'm doing. Dealing with the ramifications of a knee injury I obtained while on the job. Got the run-around early on, and getting to suffer the lack of medical assistance I should have properly received during those more critical days. But that's usually how this business goes. Doctors freak out over 'workman's comp' like it's some form of the plague. >__> On the bright side my hubby is very patient with running me around all creation, and so very sweet when I start freaking out or stressing, so it's not been too much of a trial.
I'm working on several art pieces, one of which is making me want to chuck my computer through a wall, but I think today may be more promising in that department. \^___^/ Gotta get my butt in gear on that front, anyway, because I haven't 'officially' uploaded anything on here that's worth looking at in a while.
Hoping your day is awesome!

The baby looks so adorable! Meeeh! Do lots of baby-cuddling for me! ^__^ *shot*
[Oh, I definitely agree, I thought I wanted to wait until I was much older, but after helping raise my brother and little sister and seeing my parents taking on that role when they were older, I think I'd rather be young and have the energy to keep up. >___<]
He is. He's a wonderful guy. It's all good, it happens.
Aaaaw, I've danced that dance many times, unfortunately. Like being thrust into a vacuum that sucks all whimsy and imagination out of a body and the only thing one's able to produce is absolute crud...kind of still crawling out of something like that. I just get these random spurts of 'almost-genius' and it helps me break out of it. Maybe that's what you need, a moment of sure geniosity that will get you back on the train of creative flow. Watching or reading something bizarre usually helps stimulate my creative nodes. Heh, time is never squandered when good reading is being done. Currently revisiting some works that I'd not been able to finish when I was in high school, myself. Almost done with Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas.
Can't really say the day was epic...unless you count traffic and crazy motorists among such terms. But it wasn't a horrid day, either.

Will do. The next time I see him; my brother and his wife live 3 hours away, so a lot of time goes by without seeing my nephews.
[Sounds like a good plan. As for me, I don't even have the energy right now to keep up with my older nephew Dominic, so I'm going to wait a bit for kids.]
For me, it's more of a burn out sensation. I keep on plowing forward, writing or drawing, something every night, and then I reach a point where I just can't think of anything else. Maybe you're right, what i need is just one big thing to get me back on the creative path. I've been reading alot lately, just finished An introduction to Zen Buddhism by D.T. Suzuki, and I'm reading both Tehanu by Ursula K. Leguin and Downsize this! by Michael Moore. And I've got a stack of library books I keep requesting and getting, so maybe something will trigger an idea in me.
Reading is awesome... mmmm, books.
Well, as long as it wasn't a totally bad day.
