I just made a reference for these guys after I got a commission for a fullbody custom of a ghoul pony.

Ghouls are undead pony's who are located on graveyards and only to find in the dark.
They dig out coffins with their claw like front hooves and eat the flesh of fresh died corpses.
In times of war they appear more often.

They snout is flatter than the face of a horse and their eyes lay in deep in the head.
The front hooves have formed to a shovel like claw and they walk on the them like gorilla's.
They have canine teeth and long fangs.
Normally they are smaller than normal ponies, but they can be very deadly when they attack.

These creatures came back to life when strong magic polluted the earth they laid in and caused a strange mutation.
Ghouls are vulnerable when they come in contact with direct sunlight.
