Thanks. I might actually give that a try. I was trying to get some photos of what someone praying would see. So I wanted a picture looking down at my feet with my hands crossed in front of me. Thanks for the tip though. Keep up the good work!

O sorry my bad. You're not Arabic. That last bit ment "With peace. In the peace of God"

I really like that idea! Tho I can see now how it might be tricky, and how the tripod might get in the way... maybe you could have someone pose for you? Or you could make it from the perspective of someone standing in front of you... I'm sure you'll figure something out

And thanks for the Arabic greeting (and the translation ).

Mind telling me how you managed to take the photo while your hands were in front of you? I've been trying a similar concept but I can't figure a way of taking a photo like this without showing the tripod in the picture

Well, my camera has a timer option, and when it's selected there is a 10sec delay between when the shutter button is depressed, and when the picture is taken. With this delay, I was able to press the shutter button and then put my hands into position with time to spare (using a tripod of course). Hope that explains it, good luck with you ventures!

Great detail you have there, with the lines in the skin.
I know how hard it is to do photography at night with bright lights and dark surroundings. No colour noise either, so that must mean you have a good camera. What kind of camera? Digital? What iso and shutter speed did you use?

(as you see, I am interested.)

Thanks so much for your comment!
I love the lines in the skin too, it pretty much makes the photo for me.

The camera I used was an Olympus SP500 UZ (details ), and yes it's digital. The ISO sensitivity was at 80, and the shutter speed 1 sec. The great thing about this camera is that it has about 15 different scene modes (portrait, night, landscape etc), so you can play around with the scenes and then adjust the settings accordingly. Great for experimenting!

Thanks again for your interest!

lol, it's html.
You do the code: <*a href="http://www.thelink.com">Here you write what the link will say (but be sure to remove the two *'s).
