My youngest brother got some new markers today and he asked me to draw him a picture with them. I like how bright they are. Too bad my scanner ruined this. D;

But when I put it in the scanner he goes, "what are you doing?!"
"I'm scanning it, putting it in my computer," I say.
"Will it take the picture? I wanna to keep it."
"No....What?"
"It won't take the picture off the paper?"
"Um..no. It's just like taking a photo of it. A picture of a picture. The real one will still be here."
"Oh, OK."

His eyes were so wide. It was kind of cute. I didn't realize he didn't grasp the concept of scanning things until today.

He still had to make sure it was still there.
