Description A friend told me that butterflies move slower right before they die. I don't know how accurate this information is, but this one wasn't moving much at all.

i was once told that to touch a butterfly's wing meant that they died from being flightless... but when i was in Idaho i caught so many butterflies (and touched their wings) and none of them died. so who knows?

I can almost recall someone telling me that some of their scales from their wings can come off if you touch them, but my memory's a little hazy. It's been a while since fourth grade science.

I used to have a butterfly that lived in my bathroom. It's wing was broken so I saved it.

The composition of this is nice, Beth! I hope that butterfly wasn't dying. WHY DOES EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL HAVE TO DIE?!?!? AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH
