Description As we are wandering down the path of our lives, we come upon moments when we have lost our way;
these crucial moments are ever so important, taking the wrong turn may lead to a path of pain and slow degradation.

This was shot in Velvia 50 with my Minolta Maxxum 7000 and scanned on a Nikon Coolscan IV ED, somewhat disappointed at the result, I had to adjust it quite a bit so that it would match the intensity of the slide.

I did a search for 'velvia' on dA, and i've mostly come up with pictures taken with digital cameras. Good to see one actually shot with velvia!

I've had similar issues with scanning it, it just doesn't come out properly. I've taken to sitting down at the PC with the slide and a loupe to match it up.

I love how the sign sits in the picture too, like a frame within the frame. And of course, love the rich velvia sky.

This reminds me of a "One Way" sign that used to be over by Zilker Park. Somebody had removed the bolts, and it was pointing straight up.

I never did manage to get a picture of it.

It's so crisp and god that sky looks amazing. Great concept, great execution.

Wow, great concept and title. This really symbolizes how every religion thinks that they are right and that their way to heaven is the β€œonly” way. The tricky part is finding the right way. I think I am on the right path, but then again so does everyone else.

I also like how you show a clear blue sky in the background. Any clouds would have conflicted with the white sign. Plus when most people think of heaven they think of the sky and the β€œheavens” that are above us, great idea!

No problem, it was very original and I love the idea, very clever.

Wow, if that's what the slide looked like though, it made some incredible colours there, nice comp as well

that is very close to the way it really looks like, the colors may be a bit boosted, but the real slide is so incredibly sharp, much sharper than seen in this scan.
