Moar Hamsteak fanart. I am just pumping this stuff out. :F This comic really gets my creative juices flowing for some reason.So I tried to use a relatively new (for my art, at least) perspective, and for once I don't hate how it came out! It's not perfect, of course, but it still came out better than my previous attempts at drawing from this perspective.
Anyway, this fanart is my personal tribute to the updates in which Andrew Hussie trolled us all. I would feel more sad about Vriska, but I have a feeling she won't stay dead, ha ha. I'm just glad Karkat and Terezi are alive.

I think Vriska might really be dead, even though she's God Tier. Because this was a just death, wasn't it?

I won't deny it's a possibility. In fact, I could easily see it as a just death, assuming that killing Vriska really was the only way to stop her from going to fight Jack. Thing is, though, that the given definition of a "just" death is so vague that Hussie could easily claim it was just or unjust and sufficiently back up his viewpoint. So I don't think there's much use arguing about it. Hussie will do what Hussie wants. In the end, I think it simply depends on whether or not Vriska's character arc is finished, which I don't feel like it is. That's why I think she'll probably be back some way or another.

Personally, I don't think that any of the characters are really "dead." I mean, we know that they're in the dream bubbles, right? But the dream bubbles are a physical place -- Aradia physically went to one after she ascended to God Tier!

A 'just' death isn't what determines it. It's a 'heroic' or 'notorious' death that counts.

No.
One will live forever, unless killed.
The death must be either heroic or just.
TT: How are those terms defined?
Broadly, mysteriously, and according to the case of the individual.
One may be killed by opposing a corrupt adversary and die for a just cause, as through martyrdom, for instance. This would be heroic.
Or one may be subject to corruption, and slain by a hero. This would be just.

It only justified her being stopped, it didn't justify her death. Besides, for example, Martrydom is not exactly just, but it is very heroic, so I think that's the kind of 'just' Doc Scratch means. Pure heroism as the polar opposite of pure corruption.
