Description
This is Dar's Silver Knight, done on the Huckleberry Bey mold. He was done by the one and only Sarah Mink (I cannot spell out her real last name but everyone who has ever seen her work or owned her work knows her by that shortened name).The backstory on him was Sarah needed quick cash for a vet bill on her horse Dar, who has since left this plane of life for that of the grassy fields of heaven. She dropped her normal repaint fee to $350 and for ten spots. I jumped at the chance of getting a repaint for that much from her. I sent her my Huckleberry Bey in plastic.
I got an e-mail from her when she got him and she said this is my first plastic model that I have worked on ever. I gave her options on the markings but I wanted her lovely dapple gray for him.
When I got him home, I named him Dar's Silver Knight, after her horse Dar. He has shown several times with limited sucess, though I do not show him as much as I should. But he will be going out next year to be shown.

He's one of my favorites and he has to make a trip back to Sarah to do some repairs since this mold just loves to warp the legs. No matter if you lay him down on his side or leave him standing, his legs will start bending and he starts to lose his balance standing.

The Huck mold is known for their warping of legs. They're known for it.
I have to save enough money to send him out to her as her repairs will be expensive.

I sent him to Sarah Minkwieze the artist who painted him, so he basically had one owner - me.
