History: Matthew Maddox is the Cousin of the previous Venom, Eddie Brock. After Eddie was defeated by Spider-Man, the symbiote ran and bonded to a 15 year-old Matthew, at first Matthew went berserk and it took Spiderman a while yo stop him, but when he did Matt was able to convince Venom to be more of a good guy and together they became New York's new and improved, Neon Venom!
