Yess, finally another colored piece, I should definitely use colored pencils more often (then perhaps I will get better at this)

Ugh, scanners are the worst. A necessary evil sometimes. I think you're skills with colors are improving! Especially in her face & hair, the shading/blending is a lot cleaner and smoother than it has been in the past. Not that any of them were 'bad', but its a noticeable step up in my opinion. You did well with keeping the sharpness/focus on her face and then gradually getting less focused the further out you go from there. That's not always easy to achieve. I like the strong solid lines in the chair chair & shirt and how they contrast each other.

One thing that sticks out is her chin/cheek are against her hair. It seems... undefined. Particularly compared to the black & white pieces that you do. I know they are different mediums, but it's just something that visually distracts, not having a crisp line like some of the other areas of this piece have. But its really kind of a minor issue.

Yay! The Master of Colored Pencils has spoken Thank you, you must know how much it means to me that you think I'm improving with colored pencils! Blending is much better because I bought that blender pencil you talked about I actually feel that the best part of this drawing is the chair xD

Yes, I know. I planned to leave a little white space between her face and hair, but somehow I just forgot to do it and this is the bloody result -.- I try to keep it in mind the next time

Yes, it is strange how some colours are lost. I used to find when the background is too light the colour seems to bleach out more
