Description Camera: Cannon Rebel XTi

I had just gotten the camera and was playing with things like a functional light meter, white balance, in-camera monochrome, and more.

This was shot almost entirely by accident. I still can\'t put a finger on why I like it. I think it makes the area seem more abandoned than it actually is.

I know, I know! My Nikon bit the proverbial dust. The Rebel is a pretty solid beast, but I miss the Nikon interface.

If I ever get a real job, I'm going back across the tracks. Of course, by that point, we'll probably have cameras embedded in our eyeballs. Now that's a scary thought...

I'll only allow Nikon cameras in my eyeballs. No Cannon trash. Just poking at you, cannons are nice, I just feel everyone who uses a Cannon has a mac, and looks down on anyone who does not have a mac.

Yeah, I'm not really at a point in my life when I can be brand conscious about cameras, unfortunately. If I ever am, I'm probably going back to Nikon. This Cannon ain't bad at all, though. I still have a great deal to learn about it, though.

They are all over-hyped, I think. SLR's are getting better as they get newer, in all brands. I had no problem with my camera's Nikon, but the fact that it was an 05 model was a little troublesome. 08 is MUCH better.

I think in terms of SLR's, Cannon and Nikon cameras are pretty close to even. Nikon still kicks Cannon's ass in the point-and-shoot department, though
