Name; Ricochet (Pronounced- Rick-o-shay)
Name Meaning; " Ricochet is a rebound, bounce or skip"

Gender; Male

Breed; Azores Cattle Dog

Bio; Ricochet was a victim of animal abuse. He was rescued by the RSPCA and became a shelter dog. After a few months worth of rehabilitation he was eventually adopted out to one of the veterinarian's that became especially attached to him. His original name was of unknown origin at the time of his rescue, in which case he was given a new one. The name 'Ricochet' was chosen, because he made an excellent recovery, and was on the rebound very fast. He still suffers from PTSD [Post Traumatic Stress Disorder] though. Such symptoms he suffers from include; Stopping stiff in one place, often with a blank/empty stare & dilated pupils [Occurs every time he's having a flashback] - Difficulty falling asleep & Nightmares - [Nightmares can be picked up whenever he whimpers, thrashes about, or starts barking whilst still asleep] - excessive panting, Pacing, Random trembling & being startled by sudden loud and unexpected noises and some minor separation anxiety.

Personality; Although his PTSD makes him extremely weary of new comers and new situations, it won't take him long to warm up to someone. The best way to approach him is through a calm/gentle tone whenever speaking. This will soothe him. Offering food won't hurt too since he absolutely LOVES it! He is very sweet, and loving, despite his past and makes a wonderful house pet. You could almost say he is the very definition of a gentle giant!
