Little bit of fanart from the Temeraire series, the one and only, Iskierka!
She is certainly my second favourite character in the books, closely behind Temeraire, who could not adore the two dragons
And I've been reading the sixth book and it's absolutely brill! I recoment reading Naomi Novik's books, they are worth it

Awesome drawing!
I've recently read book three of the series and was pretty sure that in the original, English version, her name was Spark and the Polish translator changed it into Iskierka.

Yes I like them, even though Naomi Novik isn't an excellent writer - Laurence's goodness and honesty is irritating me at times, but I like the plot a lot, as well as the idea of rewriting historical facts with the coolest of all additions - the dragons!

She certainly has a different outlook on everything is comparison to the other dragons. I miss reading this series. The newest book is currently in storage and only half read.

I am trying to con my husband into finding it for me. We moved into my parents house because my Mom has Parkinson's and I am helping to care for her. So naturally lots of stuuf was shoved into storage. Including my books.

Lovely drawing and i completely agree with you on the Temeraire series, it is just brilliant.
My favorite characters are Laurence and Temeraire, they are so much better than say Saphira and Eragon from Eragon

They're just written soo well the books, and Laurence is a very good character aswell
I think Saphira in the eragon books is probably the better characters in the series, but everyone has their own opinion

I am not saying Eragon and Saphira are bad, as a fact i love the books and Saphira is my favorite character, i just think laurence and Temeraire are better
