OK! so..... this is my Metrocon 2008 Mascot costume. Myself and three other ladies were chosen to represent the convention (www.metroconventions.com), so we had to create original costumes based on the theme (light vs. dark).
I am 1\2 of the light team, :devHoodedWoman: being my partner in crime. (hearts for Dee! ^_~)

So this would be my first original costume I created for myself. I learned A LOT about mix and matching, color, texture, etc., making this... not to mention that coming up with something original is not that easy. Overall, it's a pretty simple costume, but I feel that it's ok for my first try ^_^. For some reason it's easier to make original creations for other people XD.
