Description

    Logan walks briskly down the halls, the pitter patter of small feet close behind. He huffs and tries to ignore the sound. He rounds a corner then quickly enters a door, not paying attention to where it leads.
    "Logan, what are you doing here?" Storm asks. The entire class turns to stare at him.
    "Nothin'. Just tryin' ta lose the little squirt." He grumbles.
    "It seems you failed." She raises a brow and points behind him. Logan looks down and sees you looking up at him with innocent eyes. He lets out a sigh and slumps his shoulders. "Now if you don't mind, I'd like to get back to my lesson." Storm motions Logan to the door.
    He purses his lips before exiting the room. He's having trouble adjusting to, well more like hating, having a child follow him around. He doesn't understand why either. It started a week ago when he returned from a trip.

    Logan steps off the motorcycle he stole from Scott and walks up to the mansion doors. He pauses a moment with his hand on the door. On the other side, he can hear the sound of students screaming and things being knocked over while the teachers try to calm them down. He frowns and prepares himself for what he might see, though nothing could have prepared him for this.
    "Spit him out!" Scott shouts after a small child, who is dragging Bobby away by the arm.
    Other students scatter and try to avoid the little hellion running about.
    Logan walks up as Scott and Rogue attempt to pry the child's mouth open.
    "Hell of a welcome back party." Logan scoffs. "Who's the new brat?"
    "This is (f/n). A kid who lived in the wilderness for a while, raised by wolves. It seems some people found and nearly discovered (f/n)'s powers. The Professor sent us in before that could happen." Scott explains.
    "Interestin'. And what are you doin?"
    "Trying to tickle her." He replies sarcastically.
    Logan chuckles. "Well if you want her to let go." Logan reaches out and flicks your nose. You instantly release your grip and Scott falls back. Rogue hurries to examine the small amount of blood seeping from Bobby's arm. "It's how ya get a dog to let somethin’ go."
    You paw at your nose as you scrunch it up. You then look up and glare at the man who hurt you. You bare your teeth as a rumbling builds in your throat.
    "No." Logan says firmly. "Try it and I'll do more than flick your nose." Your eyes widen and you silence. "Good girl." He says with a smirk. "I'm going to my room if anyone needs me." Logan waves and walks away.
    You sit on the ground and tilt your head as you watch him.

    "Professor." Logan calls as he enters Xavier's office, irritation in his voice.
    "What is bothering you?" Xavier asks.
    "It's that kid. She's been following me around like a lost puppy." He crosses his arms and leans against the wall. "I managed to lose her but she keeps finding me."
    "Are you sure you lost her?" Xavier asks with a knowing smile.
    Logan furrows his brows. A soft scent then reaches him. He looks back and sees you peeking through the doorway.
    "How did you-"
    "She seems to have imprinted on you. She knows how to go undetected, even by your advanced senses." The Professor chuckles and motions to the girl. "Come in child." You step into view and stand in the doorway. You're not shy or embarrassed at being caught. "I believe it would be good for the two of you if I officially put you in charge of this child's wellbeing."
    "Me? Wouldn't Jean, or Storm, or anyone else be better?" Logan looks frantically between him and you.
    "You're the only person she has taken a liking to. She needs someone to watch after her. She's strong and independent, but she is also very young. Guide her. She hasn't properly interacted with people for most of her life."
    Logan groans and turns on his heel. "Neither have I." He grumbles under his breath. The Professor has to be wrong this once. Him look after some kid? How does that sound like a good idea?

    Logan takes a large bite from his burger. He peacefully chews his food until the staring finally gets to him.
    "Are you just gonna watch me all day?" He asks the large pair of eyes at the other end of the table.
    You remain silent. Your tongue slides over your small pouty lips. Your eyes dart from his plate to Logan. You never meet his eyes though. He found it strange you refused to make eye contact with him even though you stare down everyone else until they look away.
    It takes him a moment but he gets the hint. He lets out a sigh and holds out the half of his burger left.
    "You want it?" He asks. You let out a whimper. "It's fine, I can just make myself another."
    You again look between him and the burger. A slow nod is your response to his offering. You take small steps until you reach him. You then look between the two before snatching the burger from his hand. On the spot, you begin chomping away at it, hardly bothering to chew. In moments, you have finished the food. A small smile tugs at the corner of your lips for a second before disappearing.
    "Hello, Logan." Scott greets as he walks in. "I heard you were put in charge of (f/n)."
    "Yeah, I am." Logan responds, going about making himself more food.
    "Good luck with that. She's attacked six students and torn up several pieces of furniture since her arrival. Personally, I don't think you're the right person." Scott crosses his arms and leans against the counter.
    You glare at Scott.
    "Well frankly, I don't care what you think." Logan snaps.
    Scott frowns and leaves the room. You huff at his lingering scent.
    "Are you gonna want another burger?" You blink at Logan. Before you can respond, your stomach begins growling. He chuckles. "I'll take that as a yes." He pats your head, a smile still on his face.
