Thanks! It's a a male. Male Anoles have a pice of skin under their chins, called a dewlap. The dewlap can be extended when the animal is startled and (I think) sometimes also to attract mates. His can be seen just a bit beterrn his legs, just under his chin. The female Anole lacks a dewlap.
