Another version of this texture is here: [link]

I have the pleasure and honor of sharing my home with a chartreux [link] which is a type of cat. The breed was once almost extinct because this luxurious coat. In certain kinds of light, a chartreux's fur turns silver, even blue, and this color! (Whatever you call it.)

(Disclaimer: No cats were harmed in the creation of this texture.)

No, it's real... BUT it was taken from a close up of my cat, Chaos. He's quite alive, I promise!

I love animals. I have two dogs and two cats. I'd have more, but the expense and work involved is already my limit. I wish I could rescue more. My dog, Tails, has bilateral hip dysplasia and arthritus (both hips). He was born without proper ears, so he needs ear drops and pills for his hips every day. Chaos, the cat, needs a prescription diet for his uninary tract, and my other cat has hypertension and hyperthyroidism, which means more pills. Not having children, I feel like they are my "fur-babies." I feel they earn the right to have good, quality lives... They do so much for me just by allowing me to enjoy their company.

taking care of animals is a lot of work and not being able to have a whole lot of them is understandable, especially since both your dog and catsare sickish. i'm glad you're on their side ^_^
