Description My very first multiple stone wire wrap pendant!!! I'm very happy with this one, although it took some time till I figured out how I wanted to make it. All in all, I learned a lot, pieces like this one are great teachers!

Wire 0.8 and 0.4 mm, red & black glass "pebbles", red glass beads, single silvery leaf, and a lot of
Measures approx 3.5 x 1.5 cm (I forgot to measure it before I gave it away, it was a birthday present for a friend )

EDIT:
This is going to be my entry for *ArtisanCraft Mythology contest. My very first contest! Can you tell I'm excited?
Inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, the timeless story of love (symbolized by red pebble) and loss (symbolized by black pebble)... (read more about Orpheus and Eurydice here: [link] )

It's one of my favorites, too, though I also like some really odd ones like lime green and cobalt blue.

That is a bit of an odd combination! But who cares, the main thing is you like it! Now if I only had some lime green and cobalt blue beads and stones, I'd make a pendant just for the fun of seeing how they look together!

DAnnsCreations In reply to fantasywinds [2006-09-20 18:38:33 +0000 UTC]

heheheheeee it's an OLD hick term (I was raised in Oklahome my first 5 years, so I picked up a LOT of old terms that annoyed my Mom to no end! ) it means walking with determination. I should write a hick to normal dictionary!

Wow... that's just so.. its so complex! It's an amazing design, I love the stones you've picked out for it.

It's such a sad mythology, kinda gruesome at the end, but sad in general. Poor Orpheus.

thank you! it's the most complex design I've done so far. red&black are my favourite colours, and they fit together so perfectly!
yes it is a sad story, but Orpheus did end up with his Eurydice in the end... after they killed him, his soul flew straight to Eurydices' arms
