Sketched this piece around February, March? I felt really down for some reason (can't remember anymore, probably I was stressed out af, just like always) and just doodling these four was super relaxing.
Two days ago I found the sketch, hidden in my art map where I collect all my sketches and stuff. Fixed some errors and finished it. <3
The sizes are off a bit, but eh, this drawing has more of a symbolic meaning anyway.
These four are very, very special to me. <33

Caitlyn is who I consider my real sona. After I disconnected with Fantia, I was struggling to come up with a new sona. For some reason I thought it's crucial to have one. I was kinda settled on a cockatrice, but she was not the real either. She was always seemed off for some reason.
Now I have my (once Night Fury, now my own species; no picture, since I want to use her in my book, if I ever happen to write it) Midnight, who I consider my 'secret self'. She is someone I'd like to be: wild, free, brave, confident, carefree. But I needed someone who is me.
Caitlyn was created for a 'Design a character' contest and I really liked her ever since, but had no plans for her. She was just a nice design I had.

A few months ago the realization hit me. Alongside with Midnight, Caitlyn is my only OC I dreamed being of. I don' just saw her and interacted with her (what I regularly do with my characters), I was her. I was in her body, I felt all her limbs, strength, thoughts .. my thoughts.

This might come off as silly, but as I said, this never ever happened with any other characters expect Midnight. I consider this a sign.

Legolas was my first ever Cyclot and for quite a while, my only one. I had kinda of a love hate relationship with him, as I, believe it or not, didn't like his design first. I bought him, because he was the only one left and I really wanted to get a Cyclot. I thought I will swap him later (and I almost did this with Amber, Hoshi and Matsu) but then I grew attached. A story started to form in my mind, ideas stormed in and the design I once disliked became the most beautiful thing in my eyes. Like holy heck, look at this boi?? He is fucking gorgeous!

Prism is pretty self-explaining. I mean just look at the Liquid-Softs 's icon. XD
He was my first ever LS; I randomly sketched down a goo necked and tailed creature and I was like: 'Hey! Why not make this guy into a species?' - because silly ol' me wanted to be a popular CS owner. XD Looking back, it was a hilarious idea, but the species developed, the first (horrid) info sheet was made and Prism was deemed the mascot. You all know the rest. The species became open, now the 3.0 refs are out, but Prism stayed unchanged ever since.
He is truly a special being.

Now you probably awaiting an epic tale for Júzi (if you read it this far have a cookie), but truth is: there's none! XD I literally love this sweet cinnamon roll for no reason. She just always make me feel warm and fuzzy and oddly enough safe when I think about her. Her design idea suddenly came when I came across the Fantsunekos and she stole my heart right after I finished her ref. <3

Now I normally don't write this much, and to be honest, I really wonder if anyone gonna read it but I felt like I have to get this out of me. Like a positive vent, I guess?
