hello fellas!

This is done completely in Photoshop with my Wacom.
About 20 hours of work.

I tried to go beyond New Line Cinema vision of Gollum
and give him some H.P.Lovecraft aspects - different eye colors. (Book: "Shadow over Innsmouth". In his Call of Cthulhu series () he describes people who transformed to
monsters and got different eye colors and fins between the fingers. This fits very much to Gollum,
New Line Cinema had following ideas about the
Gollum template- he had to look like Iggy Pop, have
a skin of a drawned body and some face similarity with Andy Serkis.

This "drawned-look" and the unnaturally long life were mentionen by H.P. Lovecraft about 50 years earlier than by Tolkien, so I though maybe Tolkien read Lovecraft and implemented some ideas. Could be possible.

I also tried to stress his multiple personality by using two colors
for his skin and also for putting two different light sources
into the image.

The rock on the background is just some background detail, this
scenery is from no specific movie / location.
