My entry for the May/June contest at

I suck at drawing people in any style, so since this is an AU contest, I figured I could draw Danny the way I found best. Thus was Danny changed into a wolf. An ordinary wolf would've been a bit boring (and I've seen it done before) so I mixed in one of my favourite video games, Okami.

So was born Okami Phantom. Here's the idea that spawned this pic: Danny has great power locked within. When he saved the Earth from the meteor and recieved praise worldwide, this power unlocked, granting him a new lupine form and the Great Sun's Celestial Brush.

If I ever get motivated enough, I may write the story for this.

Outline: lead pencil, black pen
Colour: Faber-Castell Classic Colour Pencils/gel pen
Time: a few hours. (About 12 all up. I kept doing bits at a time!)
