I came across this piece through some of your other work, and my immediate thought was, Here's a take on Superman that I've never seen before. Which is quite rare in an era where superheroes and their respective fan art are so ubiquitous, and an impressive, and certainly surprising feat. Needless to say this piece positively radiates with charm. I absolutely love the character designs, Lois in particular, but I also love that Superman looks genuinely mild-mannered here for the first time in probably decades of his depiction. The colors, which make sense in keeping in line with those of the Man of Steel, also add to the warmth and coziness of the scene, and it feels like every element is in just the proper place. I also think the placement of the two background spheres is adorable- whether intentional or not I'm not sure- but it's like Lois is standing in front of the Earth's yellow sun, and the Daily Planet acts as a stand in for Krypton's red sun behind Superman. All in all, I can't not give this piece five stars on every level. It's remarkably sweet, and well-done on every front. Beautiful work ^_^

Superman's my favorite superhero-(i read too much comics about him
and i like his desing most in Tim Sale´s Superman for all season and in old Fleischer cartoon- this picture is really inspired by those two works
+ i like drawing comics but i´m bad at drawing muscles and manly heroes, i prefer drawing stylized and fairy-tale things...so i drew superhero fan-art this way too
