"The sky (Which plays a big role in this shot) is empty. Which makes me personally not (like) this shot. SORRY! The rest of it looks pretty neat."

That still has to be the most obtuse and subjective critique I've ever heard in my 63 years.

Thats because I tell what I see. Some body have to tell is it. Or else every one here will be all pro photographers right? Pro photographers dont need sites like this!!
But its not like that. People come here to show their art and to get noticed and to learn in the same time.
Seems like you have taken some thing personally. Could have being a critic or a comment I made. Thing is I make like 100 per day so sorry I cant remember exactly. But if its related to a "SKY" yes a good landscape or a waterscape photo is not complete without a good sky. If you dont have a good sky at least have some thing interesting happening on the other half.

I quoted you exactly; you rejected my photo for the APN club because the "sky was empty". There are many "empty sky" photos shown in the club's gallery, as well as in yours. I supposed if I sent in one with blackened HDR clouds or used pink, purple, or green filters or post processing, you would have thought it was fine. If you are going to reject club photos just because you don't like them, that is pretty subjective. I would understand if it was rejected because it wasn't clear, or was crooked, or some other technical problem, which would be objective. So yes, I did take it quite personally, and I don't think that it is a valid critique, especially since the sky was not re-colored and still had color gradation throughout, which is more than some of your "empty sky" photos have. Maybe instead of throwing out 100 critiques a day, you should consider doing fewer of them using valid, objective reasons as to how someone can improve instead of saying you don't like their work.

You really don't get it do you? What I am saying is that if you are going to criticize someone's work, you need to give objective reasons; i.e. something that they can work on to improve. Saying that you don't like something about the subject, not the technique, is not being helpful to anyone and is only massaging your own ego. Did you not pay attention even to DA's own suggestions on how to give a critique? I'm trying to help you be helpful to others, and all you are doing is justifying your position, that if you don't like the subject matter, that's all that counts?!?!
