What I am wondering is where you were standing when you took this shot, because it appears as if you might have been either standing in the river, or on one of the large rocks jutting out of it.
A beautiful shot...an unusual pathway, this. I can almost hear the rushing water. If you wanted to follow the stream and see what is behind those trees, you could, if you jumped from stone to stone.

Where was the sun in relation to you when you took the picture? You used a polarizer but there are still some noticeable reflections on the rocks and the trees. Maybe rotating the filter might do the trick.

I think it was the mid day so the sun was quite directly above. Prob with the polarizor is that it can work on one way so its not quite recommended to use on a harsh light condition as this and in slow shutter speed. I dont have ND filters so I had to go with this.
