A whirlwind of fantastic colour and light, a treacherous frenzy with complicated meshes of metal weaving through the beauty...gorgeous work.

I love the colours in this, like trees in fall.

Well, points to you in regards of the trees - the whole thing looks, to me, like a little forest in a timeless autumn, with the watcher gazing above at the trees' foliage. It's the foliage itself that barrens the view and only lets some dim lights get down, and that's why there's little sky blue there. Yet, the trees are being set on fire, thus ruining an apparently beautiful landscape soothed in calm.
...Pretty twisted itself, my comment is. Huh.

I can see why you chose the title. This looks like a pretty surreal view of power lines from the perspective of the dying victim, especially if the victim had time to cry before death. Sad... but pretty!

I was thinking of a cracked windshield, but now I see the power lines too.

One of the best parts of art: hearing what it makes other people think of.

In some alternate dimension, it's both a cracked windshield AND power lines!

i mean what it would look if someone was inside in this cascade of glasses and looking above

phoenixleo [2010-01-26 04:21:21 +0000 UTC]

you know what it looks like?...

churches have painted glass windows. it looks like the whole church is being destroyed with the infrasturcure (those lines) metal rods and colourful glasses shattering in the earthquake in Haiti.

I am not a christian but yes, this is what it reminds me. and I feel sad for some reason but beautiful piece indeed

Seconded!

...Or wind turbines/scaffolding through a tie-dyed sheet. Which leads me to the quote about lying in bed and looking up at the stars...
