For 's Alola form contest.
I really wanted to do a design for Gen 2 Pokémon (as if u guys don't already know which gen is my favorite) and so I decided to redesigning a very cute Pokémon that is actually often criticized for shabby stats or something. So I did Hoppip!!! And of course, since this is a tropical region, I've added flowers-- hibiscus flowers specifically
(I'll be so embarrassed if TheJWittz saw and loved this lmao)

Alolan Hoppip
Type: Grass/Fairy
Height: 1'09" (includes tail)
Weight: 2.1 lbs
Ability: Leaf Guard/Chlorophyll (unchanged from original)
This Pokémon enjoys drifting on the wind and hiding in flower bushes to surprise unsuspecting people or Pokémon. Its' shiny wings are said to be sprinkled with fairy dust.

The pink version is the regular version, the green version is the Shiny variant

edit 5 hours later lmao - i wanna share how i thought up of this. i kinda partially got the idea from chuggaaconroy-- when he was talking about how people used to hate r/s/e while playing emerald, he mentioned that he liked the designs for the pokemon, despite people not liking the pokemon designs. his argument was that the pokemon designs were fitting since hoenn is tropical and tropical animals are typically bright. that gave me the idea to make the hoppips brighter than they usually are
