This is a pencil board from the show Akazukin Chacha (Little Red Riding Hood Chacha).This is basically a magical girl show where the main character is a witch in training version of Red Riding Hood, her friend is a werewolf (whose dad is Paul Bunyan). The girl in the top right is a ninja in training. She is almost always in the scene but is usually hiding somewhere. lol It's a pretty fun and cute show. I recommend checking it out.
If you've read the Death Note: Another Note novel, then you know that L recommends the series too. You can't get a higher recommendation than that now can you? lol

Yeah, it's such a fun pencil board. I'm always surprised by the number of people that know about this show since it's kind of old.

actuality it is a funny story about how i know about this anime XD
So one of my friends on DA got that bootleg star locket form akazukin chacha (which is not at all) . So i decided i wanted to know what this anime is like. I am on episode 43 and I LOVE IT it is so cute

Interesting. It's funny how people find these things. I watched this in an anime club that I used to be in, back in the day. Actually, some of the club members were responsible for the fansubs on the vhs tapes. IDK if it's the same subs for the digital versions though.

I haven't read the manga. I just saw some of the show in the anime club that attended. Is the manga different from the anime?

Ah, okay. The manga is the original.:3 I'd say they're pretty much the same, but since
it's a really old manga, there aren't that many chapters right now(though the scanlation
team is working on them).
If you ever do read the manga (via mangafox), I have to warn you that the drawings aren't
as good as the anime.-_-;;;; They get a whole lot better as you progress, but just,
you know... be prepared.

I wonder if the Chacha manga was one of the author's first works, which is why they get progressively a lot better.
I doubt I'll ever really read the manga. I don't really like reading manga online much.

It's such a fun show isn't it. I first saw it during my college anime club days. Just seeing this pencil board brings back good memories.

yeah, i watched it during college too, it was a great series, i wish there was more though - i got the drama cds but Riiya wasn't in there bec. he was a member of SMAP and was busy - or at least thats my guess ^^

I wonder how many people even know the show now. That's kind of depressing to think about actually. There are so many new shows premiering all the time that even great old shows get buried over time.
Interesting fact - some of the members of the college anime club I attended did the fansub tapes for this show.

oh cool, i do some fansubs now but for asian dramas - im working on MONSTERS and Akumu-chan and in the past i did Ranma 1/2 SP and Risou no Musuko
yeah, i agree, i sometimes forget about the older series bec. there's just so much stuff - even in manga - theres way more manga than can even get licensed that no one knows about - thats why i made the group - to try and get people more aware of awesome old or unknown series =3

There are a ton of Asian dramas. Some of them are really good too. I actually own the Korean City Hunter live action tv series. Although, I haven't had a chance to watch more than a couple of eps yet. I really like the actor that plays the City Hunter in it.

Akumu-chan and MONSTERS but the D-Addicts website is down for me and i dont know how to get it back up, a lot of people are saying its down but some people say they can see it - its weird, anyways with out that i wont be able to see any dramas bec. thats where i dled them from

yea, i read somewhere where they are working on trying to fix the problem, and then i guess i will finish ep3 subs for Akumu-chan
i got a rant that i need to get off my chest, i hope you dont mind me venting it to you XD - if so - im very sorry
so im working on two projects - and i work alone when making subs - it takes 3 days or so to get subs out for a single ep. and since im doing two series at the same time - i noticed (i dont know who did it- but) someone else posted ep3 subs online at some random site
when i was looking for more info on the daddicts site - i saw ep3 subs and im like "what the hell?" i dont like it when someone subs a project im working hard on - it seems sneaky to me - i know fans want eps fast but yikes -- without even asking me @_@
well, i will still work on ep3 and all the rest if daddicts is up and running bec. people expect it from me, but gosh it makes me mad that they did that and couldnt wait patiently

I totally agree with you. It would be a lot better if the other person just subbed something else that wasn't being subbed. That way there could be more variety out there.
Although, I guess nothing has changed in over a decade. This same thing was going on when I was hanging out on IRC downloading anime a long time ago.

i know other people sub the same thing a lot but still - they should have asked me first if they could - bec. it makes me not want to work as hard but i still should for the other people who are waiting for my subs - and it does help me understand the episode better when i do the tranlation
i just hope daddicts gets up soon bec. without that site i dont know where people will be able to dl the drama - i tried looking for other places but they dont have updates for the latest eps. @_@ so confusing when one site goes down
im gonna go to bed soon just waiting 10 min left for a dl to finish
