After experimenting with my technique, I have finished (minus a sealant) my first product, a Rainbow Dash wallclock!

This clock was cut, etched, and stained from high-quality select pine and mesaures 11" in diameter. The clock piece is recessed into the back of the clock and operates on 1 AA battery (optional second hand, just snap into place).

There are some obvious imperfections, especially in the number stenciling (I got some ideas to improve this).

Please let me know what you think. There are not many handmade wooden pony items like this around, so it's hard to compare. Personally, I just like the look of stained wood ove painted wood.
