nah we actually have quite a bit of greenery....but we are a city state after all...so that feeling of wide openness...an expanse of green...don't get that
but we have countries around us that do like indonesia and malaysia and thailand so its all good 
pak is definitely on the list....lets see...kinda hard with no connections there, but i definitely wanna come...esp hyderabad and karachi, gotta see where the grandfolks came frm

Hehe pak on your list... so you're not the victim of shadow media. The reason Im saying this is because after 9/11, media represented this region (pak and middle east)quite badly so some people wonder if bullets are flying here all the time which is absolute erroneous.

i mean....any country aligned on the basis of religion would feel strange to someone not from that religion...regardless of the portrayal of that particular religion in the media

Religion is not written on the forehead. secondly, you're not visiting Afghanistan and thirdly, Karachi or Hyderabad are very secular areas of the country. especially in the latter city you'll find so many Hindus and temples.

i'm sorry if i come across as ignorant, i really am, but for me, religion is not the hallmark of who i am, because we're all bound by the same spirituality in the eyes of the creator. it's like they say...religion divides where spirituality unites.

It was naturally deep blue sky after excessive rain and then rest of the job done by minimal contrast. You should not worry abt sky that much dude
