Aww...doesn't Lavinia look so cute when she's sleeping? And NightShroud's just laying there looking a tad bit fed-up yet at the same time content and quite protective of the sleeping were-pup next to her. (her stare seems to say 'leave her alone'!)
This is a gift for as my token of gratitude for all the awesome pictures and videos she's done for the clan.
NightShroud and Lavinia seem to have a little 'big sister, little sister' relationship going on, so I decided to capture a small sisterly moment in this picture. I even have a little idea for a story behind this:
Poor Lavinia had a nasty nightmare about a gang of vampires taking her to the vet to be neutered, and couldn't get to sleep for the rest of the night (not without wanting to tear up a vampire first that is); so NightShroud let Lavinia lay beside her until she relaxed...but ended up falling asleep next to her, and NightShroud didn't bother waking her up since it was the first time she'd seen Lavinia so quiet.
I did this in a style that's a lot different from my normal manga work; I made it so that the characters looked a little more realistic by adding fur and shadings using photoshop.

Well why don't you make one anyway? When I said that clan plushies can't be made for selling purposes, but you can still make them for fun. Just be sure to put a picture of what you make on DA. I'd love to see a SlayMore plushie.

Wait, I wouldn't do that because the comic's not fully official just yet, and we could get done for copyright theft if we started making clan merchandise and selling/giving stuff away without permission from AQ for the comic and all else related to it to be published first. Besides, it would also seem very suspicious if the clan asked for addresses offering free plushies. Aq and freewebs might think we're trying to steal identities or con members into giving out their personal details. NOT a good move.

lol I knew that'd be the kind of Nightmare that lavvy would have, and yep it would be awkward if someone walked in like Speed or Baka (now called Striker, Baka changed his name), but then again it'd be their funeral if they came near NightShroud right now.

Excellent, I also have another song which I actually wrote myself as my composition exam piece. It's a song designed for the big bad wolf character in the RRH story, as a musical theatre piece; where I sang both the wolf's part and the RRH girl's part for the scene where they first meet.
I'll send them both to you, and you can listen to them and decide which one you like best and think is best for the flash.

I did say that 'she look tad bit fed up YET at the same time content and quite protective', and you don't have to have a grumpy/aggressive face to tell someone to leave them alone. Dogs certainly don't anyway, my sister's dog always has a lazy face like Night's when she's laying next to me, but the minute you try to move me away from her she starts staring at you and groaning.

Ah but this time I drew her in a more realistic manner, instead of my normal anime/manga style. And canines don't pull angry faces when they stare; they just groan and or twitch their upper lip, ready to snarl if they need to.

Scared? wtf? Obviously you've never had a dog, coz' that's not a canine's face of fear. When canines are scared, they widen their eyes and flatten their ears, NightShroud's face is doing neither. In fact her eyes are half closed. -_-

I have three dogs and I know what scared is but i've seen some other art of a dog like this and the artist comment says the dog is scared of something not sure what plz comment. I can't remember where I found it thou.

the battleon character are cartoons sorta they do not look like real people. and I saw a Scared cartoon dog that had the same eyes as this NightShroud and Lavy art. and the artist said that the dog was scared.

However I have plenty of scared dogs/wolves in my favorites (including tutorials), so I've done some homework on how to draw real canine facial anatomy before I drew this.
