This is an art trade I did for . He asked for simply a mermaid ... so this is my attempt at a sci-fi/fantasy picture of a mermaid rescuing an astronaut underwater. Thanks for the great idea David! I had a lot of fun painting it and learnt a couple of technical things which I will use in the future. Hope you like it!You can see the sexy, surfing robot that David drew for me here .

Ha, you're like me: critical of your own work! You should be very proud of this piece, though. I really enjoy all the detail you put into it. The fish is great; no wonder you made it your avatar as it is wonderful. The sea turtle is also BRILLIANT. I like everything about this, actually.
