Description
Here's my latest painting, which deviates quite a bit from my usual artistic style. The assignment for this piece was to create a painting that had something to do with an oxymoron as a theme. So I played with the first theme that came to mind, which was "Jumbo Shrimp", and then went way overboard with that theme, which resulted in a painting that looks like a poster for those cheesy B Movies... The ones that were all the rage in the 50s and 60s when strange monsters (which were typically some guy in a costume) ruled cinema of the era. All In all, I'm pretty happy with this piece, and it was really strange making an all black and white painting as opposed to my usual color filled works.
