Here's my latest painting. It's a 2003 Kenworth W900L based off of the one an Uncle of mine owns. This painting is going to be a Christmas gift for him. The viewpoint is from the interior of a truck stop restaurant somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. The paintings emphasis is portraying the lives of all the hard working men and women who live their lives on the road determined to deliver their manifest. The Kenworth W900L is an icon of the North American roadway, and has been by the side of many truckers since its debut in 1962. It is truly a legacy for dependability with reputation built up and maintained for over 50 years. Anyway, this is the first time that I have included a Semi-Truck as the center of attention in any of my paintings, and after doing this one, I can almost guarantee I'll be making more Trucking themed paintings in the future, because I really enjoyed painting this piece, and the Semi-Truck niche is one that I've never really tapped into with my paintings, but always wanted to.
