Description
This was first done in pencil in my art class sketch book. Then I scanned it in and colored it on the computer with my tablet and CG Illust. This chara's name is Orinoco(Ori for short). Usually he's an android person....but for this pic I chose to make him an aviator, or, if you've read the Pern series by Anne McCaffery, a Dragonrider.Anyways, this only took me a couple of days to color. Enjoy!

why did you use this color scheme? i love the little dragon, do you have any tips on drawing dragons?

I used this color scheme because I thought this pic would look cool if it had an older feel to it. Steam-punkish, I suppose.
Dragons? Yeah, I've been drawing those since way before I started drawing ppl.
My tip is, get a stapler. A stapler is a great model for the head of a dragon.
for the wings, find pics of bat wings, and use those pics as references. For the body, look at pics of lizards, use them as references.
