So, this is another character sketch for a comic idea I've been fleshing out on and off for a few years.This one I'm a little more concerned about...
Since she is supposed to represent our heroine I think she might look a little too harsh...
I want her to be soft and round a friendly looking. Her body and face came off fine but the hair might be a little too extreme...
I would like her to have something that offsets her from any typical girl and that's why I decided to try to give her a haircut that's a bit different...
But perhaps I should make it softer...
Any opinions on that?

It looks good. If you want a different hairstyle, this is the best i can do. Its a bit small and I wish I could find a better shot of this character's head, but its really a very nice hairdo.
A bit short, kind of different, but still feminine. Is that the kind of thing you want?

Just short and tomboyish isn't enough. I want her to have funky spikes or color or something, I think.

I really like the hair, it gives her a unique look. It also gives contrast to the rest of her, since she is so soft and gentle-looking everywhere else, it's nice if there's at least one aspect that stands out in contrast.

I think it looks fine as it is, but on the hair, have you tried sleakin it back some instead of havin it straight up? But still having it standin up, but just slanted back instead... well... you get the idea. ^_^
